Understanding what we do at For Crying Out Loud Entertainment may convince you to think differently about the video story telling you'd like to pursue. We rely on a few key ingredients that originate from many sources of inspiration. There are the editing styles we see in television and film, in the music we hear and the imagery contained in print. These influences all around us can’t help but keep our creative disciplines contemporary and relevant. While new technology is important to the film-making process, it’s only used to provide value to the subject matter. Most important of all is the same key ingredient deeply rooted within each collaborative experience…
The simplicity in the storytelling.
As a Chicago-based creative producer, Jeff Zimmerman drives content from conception through completion. He develops and oversees projects, consults and creates strategy, puts together a cost-effective production, and delivers a high quality presentation.
Jeff is the founder of For Crying Out Loud Entertainment, specializing in Corporate Marketing, Capital Campaign and Non-Profit Fundraising video story telling. Since starting the company in 2004, Jeff has consulted his clients on various aspects of Special Event Video Staging and Production. His list of credits include more than 200 highly-produced family documemories across the country, many for affluent families pursuing legacy building and generational story telling. As a voiceover talent, Jeff delivers his warm and authoritative sound to clients in a variety of projects ranging from commercials to all aspects of narration and announcing.
Jeff was still in high school on St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands when he launched his career in front of the camera and behind the microphone. After graduating from Emerson College with a degree in Speech Communications, he served as Sports Anchor for Miami’s ABC Affiliate, Producer and Host for the nationally syndicated Tennis Magazine Show, News Director for the RKO oldies radio station in Ft. Lauderdale and various sports play-by-play and stadium public address assignments.
Jeff and his wife Nancy live in Deerfield, Illinois. They have two children, Lindsay and Danny.
